We’re running an online Reading Group for 6 weeks on Zoom, starting Tuesday 15 February 2022 at 8-9pm, until Tuesday 22nd March 2022. It’s a space to read aloud from a passage of a text or book you enjoy or find interesting – and to hear others read aloud. You’re welcome to join and just listen or to nominate someone else to read if you prefer. Please let us know of any access needs you have.
Sign up here to attend and to get the zoom link.
If you’d like to find out more first then contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or get in touch on the contact page.
About the Reading Group
During the weekly sessions we’ll hold an online space for people to read short passages from books or texts they enjoy and to hear others read aloud. We will operate a sign up system for each week to make sure everyone has a chance to read. We’ll encourage informal discussion around the readings but please note this is not a book group or an open mic event.
The reading material you choose must be appropriate and considerate for a community group event. We reserve the right to moderate the content and to ask participants to leave if the reading content is offensive, discriminatory, extreme or explicit. #23PRESS is an inclusive, tolerant community small press.
By completing the form you consent to us contacting you on the email address you provide with further information about #23PRESS and the Reading Group.
We hope to include everyone who wishes to participate but to ensure the group is a supportive space, we may limit the number of people attending each week. We will let you know if this is the case.
To find out more about #23PRESS or to ask any questions please contact us at email@example.com or get in touch on the contact page.
